Meet Amanda Chase, the visionary Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Substance. From the age of 15, she dreamed of creating an editorial magazine and platform that would change the world for the better and empower women on their quest to achieve their dreams. Hours spent in her childhood bedroom, crafting mood boards of her envisioned life, fueled her determination. At 18, she embarked on her journey, obtaining a BA in Psychology from The University of Maryland, College Park, and excelling in Visual Communications at FIDM. In NYC, she honed her craft, working with esteemed brands like NYLON Magazine and Michael Kors. Beyond her professional achievements, Amanda embarked on an inner journey of healing, seeking holistic modalities. In 2016, she launched ōSHen, a content creation studio, empowering visionary brands and holistic wellness practitioners to express their essence. Through major health challenges, her commitment to creating authentic and impactful content inspired her to establish Substance, her dream platform.
